Darrelle Revis Signs: Revis Island Open for Coverage Again with New York Jets

If Hollywood was never around, would some sports story lines be as entertaining as they are?
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the New York Jets and their star defensive player, Darrelle Revis, have officially agreed on a deal.
This isn't to break the news. A lot of people upon reading this may have heard it.
So what does this mean for the Jets and Revis himself?
Well, for the Jets, Jets fans, and NFL fans, the last episode of HBO's Hard Knocks should be quite interesting. That's where Hollywood comes in.
During this season the Jets have seen some detailed coverage of rookie fullback John Conner. Tony Richardson was the starter at fullback until Saturday, when the team cut the four-time Pro Bowl veteran.
If it doesn't all come to your head by now, basically the Jets released Richardson because (1) they had faith in Conner, and (2) the move freed up money to make Revis the highest-paid defensive player in New York Jets history.
