NFL Picks Week 1: Will Madden Curse Strike Drew Brees?

Tonight is the night that millions of Americans have waited for since February, the start of the 2010-2011 NFL season.  The game tonight is a rematch of last year's NFC Championship game between the Minnesota Vikings and the eventual Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints.
This game will showcase two quarterbacks who will find themselves in Canton after their careers are over, Brett Favre and Drew Brees. Seemingly, Drew Brees is the quarterback that is on top of the world right now, but is that abruptly about to end?
Drew Brees is the cover boy for the new Madden 2011 video game.  As most know being on the cover for this infamous video game doesn't usually work out well for the player.  Since 2000, nine players who have been on the cover of Madden have either gotten severely injured during  or have played under par during that season.  One of those who has fallen to the Madden Curse is Brees counterpart tonight Brett Favre, who led the league in ...
