NFL Picks Week 4: Pick Three Against the Spread

One of the problems that we sometimes run into when betting sports is that we can fool ourselves by listening to too much information from others. You may feel a particular way about a game, but because of the opinions you have heard over the week your mind changes and you fool yourself to changing your pick.
Sometimes it's best to stick to your guns.

Game 1: Texans at Raiders (+3)
The Houston Texans offense was finally shut down last week by the Dallas Cowboys. Now they travel to Oakland to face the Raiders and their third-ranked defense.
At this point in the season these rankings mean all but nothing. The Raiders last two games were against the Rams and Cardinals, but they were destroyed by the Tennessee Titans, allowing 38 points and 142 yards. Expect a big day from running back Arian Foster, who should rush for over 100 yards.
