Clinton Portis Doesn’t Believe He’ll Play Sunady Against The Packers

Even though the results of his MRI have not come back, Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis does not believe the team will allow him to play this Sunday.
On his weekly appearance on 106.7 The Fan's Mike Wise Show Portis explained that when he was injured that he heard a "pop".
Clinton Portis is one tough son of a gun, and if he thinks his injury might keep him out for Sunday's game then there is no questioning that it might be very serious.
If this is the case, than back-up Ryan Torain will get his shot as the starter.
Once compared (by Coach Mike Shanahan) to Terrell Davis, Torain could be the spark the Redskins need in the running game.  He certainly provided one with his touchdown against the Eagles this past Sunday.
This Redskin team is still looking for it's identity and Torain (who was with Shanahan in Denver) could very well be the right type of back for this incarnation of the zone blocking.
