Time for the Torain Train: Predicting Ryan Torain’s First Start as a Redskin

Ryan Torain came in to this league in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL draft, being selected by Mike Shanahan and the Denver Broncos. He was going to be the next Terrell Davis!
But everything did not go as planned.
In his first career start, he played well. He ran for 68 yards on 12 attempts and a touchdown. But in the fourth quarter he tore his ACL and was placed on injured reserve. The next year after Shanahan was fired in Denver, Torain was set to battle first round pick, Knowshown Moreno and Peyton Hillis (now starting running back in Cleveland) for the starting job.

After losing to both of them he was let go by Denver on final cuts and no one signed him until 2010 when Mike Shanahan and the Redskins picked him up. 
After losing to veteran Larry Johnson and and undrafted rookie Keiland Williams in the offseason, Torain was placed on the practice squad.
