Week 5 NFL Picks: Atlanta Falcons Small Favorites at the Cleveland Browns

The Atlanta Falcons are off to a strong 3-1 start, but not much has come easy. Atlanta has already played two overtime games, and its last two games have been decided by a total of five points.
The Falcons were very fortunate to beat San Francisco last week after falling behind 14-0 to start the game. They needed a 43-yard field goal with just two ticks left on the clock to earn a victory. Atlanta could have its work cut out for itself again Sunday against a Cleveland team that knows a thing or two about playing close games.
Three of Cleveland’s games have been decided by three of fewer points, and the Browns finally came out on the winning end of a close game against in-state rival Cincinnati last week. It comes as no surprise that NFL odds makers are anticipating another nail-biter Sunday, listing the Falcons as a 3-point favorite with the total set at 41.
