NFL Lines: Green Bay Packers Are Road Favorites Over Washington Redskins

The 3-1 Green Bay Packers will likely have to play better than they did last week if they hope to get a win on the road against the 2-2 Washington Redskins Sunday. Green Bay held on for a 28-26 home win over win-less Detroit last week, but it was not pretty. The Packers totaled only 261 yards of offense, their worst output since their 2009 season opener with Chicago.  Still, the NFL odds makers have listed Green Bay as a 2.5 point favorite over Washington.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers felt that Green Bay’s play selection was largely responsible for such an anemic offensive performance. Rodgers completed 12 of 17 passes for 181 yards and three touchdowns last week, but all three of those touchdown passes came in the first half, and his 17 attempts were the fewest of his career as a starter.
