It is becoming quite clear that the Wrangler Jean-wearing, ageless, gun slinging, future Hall of Famer Brett Favre is a clear cut media darling, whether by his own design or not.
Many Packers fans remember the advent of such a dubious stigma in the early 90s with Brett Favre’s addiction to Vicodin, an addiction that seemingly put the little dentistry drug of choice on the radar map.
Then of course came the ancillary—yet supportive—role of Favre as a husband to his wife, Deanna Favre, when she battled breast cancer, a situation that, ironically enough, was draped all over each and every telecast that season, cleverly making it into the “hot topic” in Favre’s incredible journey as a football player.
