NFL Week 5: Randy Moss Wanted Out Of New England Back This Summer

Since his somewhat surprising departure from New England last week, stories as to why the Randy Moss-Patriots marriage disintegrated so quickly continue to come out.
Although Head Coach Bill Belichick denied it, published reports claimed that Moss quarreled with the team's quarterback coach Bill O'Brein, then "disrespected" Belichick himself.
Now, it seems that Moss was may have been plotting his exit strategy long before an unproductive start to the 2010 season. The team approached him about a new deal; Moss showed no interest.
This makes his "I'm not appreciated" statements in early September seem even more disingenuous. For a team like the Patriots--whose players toe the company line and buy into the team concept--Moss might have naturally felt out of place.
