Brett Favre Scandal: Is the NFL the Most Chauvinistic Business in America?

With the allegation this week that Brett Favre may have indeed sent former Jets sideline reporter Jenn Sterger lewd photos of himself, it once again raises the question of male behavior in the NFL.
Earlier this year, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was suspended for four games because of actions he committed in a bar in Milledgeville, Georgia, with a woman in the bathroom.
NFL players are well known for fooling around and keeping a "boys will be boys" attitude, an attitude that only seems to be tolerated in professional sports.
The machismo that oozes out of the pores of most NFL athletes probably can be measured in gallons, and starting quarterbacks usually are the worst of the bunch.
Most of these guys have been catered to since puberty and found they could get away with a lot of things other guys can't, especially with segments of the female population.
