LeSean McCoy in 2010: Even Better Then We Expected?

Just about all of the attention this offseason was directed towards the quarterback position. It was all about what Kevin Kolb would be able to do with the weapons he had on offense. For the most part, the weapons that we talked about were the one-two combination of DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin. We also spent time talking about tight end Brent Celek as he was a popular target for Kolb in his two starts last season.
So what about running back LeSean McCoy? Sure we knew he had a great rookie campaign as Brian Westbrook was plagued by injuries. Sure we knew he bulked up his frame in the offseason. Sure we knew he looked solid in training camp.
Despite all the indicators, I didn’t think McCoy would look as good as he has through the first five games of the 2010 season.
Through these first five games, McCoy has recorded 68 rushes for 365 yards and five touchdowns, averaging over five yards per carry. These numbers put him just outside the top 10 in rushing ya...
