Fred Taylor Injury Update: New England Patriots Running Back Inactive

Fred Taylor was not expected to suit up for the New England Patriots in their Week 6 meeting with the Baltimore Ravens, and today that news was confirmed as Taylor was on the inactive list as he still battles a nagging toe injury.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis looks to be the Patriots' top running option, although he could be in for a tough game given the Baltimore defense's proclivity for stopping the run. Danny Woodhead might also see some increased action given Taylor's absence, but I don't think the Patriots running game will have a large impact on this game, not with Tom Brady looking to find the new mix in his passing game as life without Randy Moss begins.
