NFL Fantasy Football: Sneaky Week 7 Pick-Ups To Get Ahead of the Game

If your roster is pretty much set this week you may want to take a peak ahead to next week. I know you hear the phrase one opponent at a time, but that’s not the case in fantasyland. While people are struggling to fill out this week’s roster, be proactive and get a step ahead of them. Here are some targets with good Week 7 match-ups.

Josh Freeman, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Freeman hasn’t exactly set the world on fire, but he’s averaging 206 passing yards per game and 28 rushing yards per game with 5 TDs and 3 INTs. He’s basically struggled against tough defenses (CIN & PIT) averaging 232 yards, 17.5 rushing yards, and 0.5 TDs, and played solid against bad ones (CLE & CAR) averaging 180 yards, 38.5 rushing yards, and 2 TDs. The good news for those with a QB on bye next week is that he faces St. Louis.

Matt Cassel, QB, Kansas City Chiefs
