Denver-San Francisco: 49ers Given Slight Edge Over Broncos

The annual NFL game in London takes place this Sunday as the Denver Broncos (2-5) square off against the San Francisco 49ers (1-6).
It doesn’t feature a power like it has in years past when the New York Giants played in London in 2007 and went on to win the Super Bowl that year. Also, the New Orleans Saints played overseas in 2008 and the New England Patriots did the same last season.
Both teams are just trying to get back on track after bad losses last weekend. NFL odds show us a line of San Francisco minus-1.5 over Denver with a total set of 42 points.
49ers’ head coach Mike Singletary believes this trip across the Atlantic will help his team just get away and re-focus. San Francisco is coming off a 20-23 road loss at Carolina, handing the Panthers their first win of the season.
