Tampa Bay: Buccaneers Cut Ties with Veteran Guard Keydrick Vincent

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have waived veteran guard Keydrick Vincent, according to the Miami Herald.
Vincent started the first five games of the season for the Buccaneers, who signed the free agent from the Carolina Panthers in the offseason. Vincent missed last week’s win over the St. Louis Rams with a back injury and had not practiced this week.
Vincent, a nine-year veteran, was replaced by rookie Ted Larsen last week, as Jeremy Zuttah slid over to fill-in for the injured Jeff Faine at center. Faine is questionable for Sunday’s game, and if he cannot go, the local Palm Harbor University high School product Larsen will likely start his second consecutive game.
Guard Will Barker was promoted from the practice squad to take Vincent’s roster spot.
The Buccaneers are patch-working their offensive line this week, as Jeremy Trueblood will likely be a game-time decision when the Buccaneers face the Cardinals in Arizona at 4 p.m. EST.
