Raiders QB JaMarcus Russell Takes It Personally

It's bad enough that beleaguered Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell suffered through a tumultuous sophomore slump, recording just 3 TDs to go with 10 INTs and leading his team to just five victories in 16 games. And, now he's been labeled as "lazy," a charge that is threatening to any man, even if it is without merit.
O' JaMarcus, how strong must you be to endure such hostile and unfounded hatred? And to make it worse, you have a castoff from Willie Wonka threatening your starting job, Yikes!
Time to get to work, Mr. Russell. The franchise invested a lot in your abilities. About $30 million, as reported by the media 50 times a week.
Who knows what JaMarcus is doing right now? Is he studying offensive coordinator Hue Jackson's new playbook? Or is he shedding those extra pounds which are supposedly affecting his accuracy and pocket presence?
Either one would be great. Or maybe even that isn't enough in the eyes of Raider Nation. Maybe he should go to another team ...
