Home Not So Sweet For Jets As They Get Shutout By Packers 9-0

Miserable is the only way to describe the offense today as the New York Jets find themselves 2-2 in the new Meadowlands Stadium as they were blanked by the Green Bay Packers, 9-0.
For the offense collectively could do nothing all day even though they gained more yardage and controlled the clock in a contest they never seemed comfortable moving the football with any sense of consistency in the air or on the ground.
For the Jets seemed to be sleep walking most of the game with poor throws, dropped passes (4) and no sense of rythym to the play calling by Brian Schottenheimer, the team's offensive coordinator.
This was the first time since 2006 that a Jets team was shutout and the first time the Packers have defeated the New Yorker's on the road.
Aaron Rodgers was equally mediocre as he passed for 170 yards on a 15 for 34 afternoon with no picks and no touchdowns.
