Raheem Morris’ Buccaneers Still ‘The Best Team in the NFC?’

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris caused quite a stir last week when he proclaimed his 4-2 team the best in the NFC.
To an extent, and due to a convenient technicality, he was right, and after Sunday’s 38-35 win over the Cardinals in Arizona, he’s not changing his mind.
"I am going to remain unwavered," said Morris. "You know, there’s no doubt about it, man. As long as my record says we're the best team in the NFC, I am not going to let anyone tell me that we're not.”
The Buccaneers have won five straight road games dating back to last year. They’ve mounted four fourth-quarter comebacks this season, and they are 7-3 in their last 10 games, also dating back to last year.
There are three 5-2 teams in the NFC: The New York Giants, the Atlanta Falcons and the Buccaneers. The AFC’s New England Patriots (6-1) are the only team in the NFL with a better record than the Buccaneers.
