NFL Playoffs: The Five Unsung Names You Should Know For Round One

As the regular season winds to a close and we begin the playoffs, it becomes more and more crucial for everyone to be at the top of their game. While the stars always get more coverage at this (and every) time of the year, all 90 guys active come kickoff have to be ready to play this game better than they ever have before. Assuming they don't play on your local team, you've probably only heard about some of these players in passing, or recognize the name from college. But beyond that—and the fact they tell you their name and where they went to college at the beginning of every game—the casual fan is unlikely to know much about these guys. And yet, these are the guys it is all riding on; the guys who will have to bring every bit of their formidable game in round one or hazard the long, quiet trip home to barbecues, offseason workouts and that biting feeling that more could've been done.
