NFL Week 9 Odds: Kansas City Getting a Field Goal At The Oakland Raiders

The 5-2 Kansas City Chiefs head west to take on the 4-4 Oakland Raiders in a Week 9 AFC West division showdown. NFL odds makers have projected a close game, but they ultimately expect Oakland to cut into Kansas City’s division lead. They have listed the Raiders as a two-point favorite with the total set at 40.5.
While the Chiefs have lost their last two road games, they certainly can’t be counted out in Oakland, where they have won seven in a row.
The Chiefs are off to their best start since 2003 when they opened the season 9-0. If they want to build on their division lead, they’ll have to take care of business on the road, where they are averaging nearly nine fewer points and giving up over nine more points per game.
Coach Todd Haley said it best: "To be a good team in this league and to eventually be a great team, you must win on the road.”
