Percy Harvin Injury Update: Minnesota Vikings WR Active For Week 9

Fresh on the heels of his just-reported verbal clash with head coach Brad Childress, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin is listed as active for the team's Week 9 game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Harvin missed the week of practice for the Vikings after he sprained his ankle during Minnesota's loss at New England in Week 8. There was speculation he might sit out with the injury and further deplete the Vikings receiving corps, but this news will be a boost to the Minnesota passing game and its depth.

There hasn't been any word on whether or not Harvin will be disciplined at all for his run-in with his head coach, but that warrants keeping an eye on, in case Childress decides to keep Harvin on the bench early in the game as a form of punishment.

Either way, he is active and should make an impact against a weak Cardinals defense.
