Giants vs Eagles Sunday Night Football: Akers Field Goal Win Eagles the Game

Akers drills another and that seals the game. Eagles have a two possession lead with :22 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter. McCoy sealed the game with his 50 yard TD run and was able to give the Eagles the lead late in the 4th.
Also, good job by Akers to seal off the game entirely. Hitting every single one of his field goals, aside from the blocked kick at the end of the half. 
Not an impressive performance from Vick, but he was able to keep it moving enough to win the game against the number one Giants defense. 
The Giants head back to New York with a (5-4) record and second place in the NFC East.
The Eagles stay at home as winners and advance to three straight wins and first place in the NFC East. This was a huge win for the Eagles and will definitely have playoff implications. \
Final score: Giants-17 Eagles-27
