Browns’ Prevent Offense Comes Up Short

The Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Cleveland Browns 24-20 despite losing the turnover battle six to one. When a team gets six turnovers they should win the game. 
The Browns seemed content to play it safe instead of going for the kill shot. That philosophy has cost the Browns another close loss.
Intent on running the ball when the Jaguars stacked eight and sometimes nine in the box, the Browns scored just 10 points off the six Jaguars turnovers. Why was the play calling so conservative?
Playing for field goals will get you beat most of the time in the NFL.With a record of 3-7, the Browns are a good example of a team that plays not to lose.
One has to wonder what Colt McCoy could have done with some more aggressive play calling. I do agree he has very few weapons at his disposal but the Browns made it way too easy for the Jags defense. For this, Brian Daboll and Eric Mangini must share the blame for the disappointing loss.
