Sometimes because of matchups you have to roll out less than ideal lineups, especially when your players are nicked up. That’s the nature of the beast. Sometimes you need a fantasy gem to be successful. Here are some of the under-the-radar players that could possibly pull out a win for you.

Derek Anderson, Arizona Cardinals
It is not easy starting a quarterback with a 68.2 passer rating and a 52.8 completion percentage, but he was able to throw for 295 yards and a score when he faced St. Louis in the season opener. The Rams rank 23rd with 259.1 passing yards allowed per game.

Brian Westbrook, San Francisco 49ers
Westy basically came off the street and rumbled for 136 yards and a touchdown. There’s little chance he touches those numbers against the Packers, but if you’re in a bind, there are worse options.Anthony Dixon is an option in deeper and/or touchdown heavy leagues.
