Ben Roethlisberger: Is His Foot Broken Or Not?
After the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette came out with a report that Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger broke his right foot in Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills, the team has issued a statement refuting this, saying he is healing from an aggravation to a previous injury where scar tissue is still present.
The Steelers previously had said Roethlisberger sprained his right foot in Buffalo.
Roethlisberger was limited in practice Thursday, but has said he expects to play in Sunday's big game against the Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore.
The Ravens are 5-0 at home and the Steelers could indeed use Roethlisberger's help.
Baltimore's defense did not look like its usual dominant self until last week's 17-10 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Ravens held Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman to just 162 yards on 17-of-37 passing on Sunday.
