NFL Sneaky Week 14 Fantasy Football Pick-Ups to Stay Ahead of the Curve

If your roster is pretty much set this week you may want to take a peek ahead to next week. I know you hear the phrase one opponent at a time, but that’s not the case in fantasyland. While people are struggling to fill out this week’s roster, be proactive and get a step ahead of them. Here are some targets with favorable Week 14 matchups.

Josh Freeman, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
He has a decent matchup this week against Atlanta’s 26th ranked pass defense (265.3 yards allowed per game), but has an even more enticing one next week against 29th ranked Washington (280.8). If you’re rolling with Sam Bradford this week, Freeman could be a nice substitute when Bradford faces New Orleans next week.

Anthony Dixon, RB, San Francisco 49ers
Brian Westbrook was likely the guy who was snatched up following Frank Gore’s hip injury. What if Dixon has a stronger game? What if Westy gets banged up? You could be stashing next week’s top waiver claim b...
