Kellen Winslow: Tampa Bay Buccaners Tight End One To Watch In Week 13

Kellen Winslow has been in a rhythm with his quarterback, Josh Freeman, in recent weeks, and I expect that strong synergy between the two to continue in a huge game for the Bucs in Week 13.

Winslow has caught two touchdown passes over the last three weeks, while hauling in 14 passes for 143 yards in that stretch. Not mind-blowing, Dwayne Bowe-type receiving numbers but still impressive for a tight end playing with a young quarterback, in an offense that stresses controlling the ball and steadily moving up field.

Against Atlanta, the team sitting atop the NFC South division and one that Tampa Bay needs to beat in order to position themselves for a playoff run, I expect Freeman to lean on Winslow's veteran experience and calm, utilizing him as a frequent target, especially in the red zone.

Winslow seems to be the most likely Buccaneer, beside Mike Williams, to pull in a touchdown reception. I also think he'll see his receptions jump up higher than his season-high ...
