Steelers Vs. Ravens Sunday Night Football: Haloti Ngata Flattens Big Ben’s Nose

Early in the first quarter, Haloti Ngata saw an opening, and made a huge sack on Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

In the process of sacking him, Ngata's arm flew in for a blow to the head that broke Roethlisberger's nose. Ngata absolutely destroyed Roethlisberger's nose, as it was visibly moved to both sides of his face and blood was pouring out of it.

But the refs decided that wasn't worth a penalty flag, and play continued.

Don't try and tell me that same play on Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, or Mark Sanchez wouldn't have resulted in a flag, because we all know it would.

Ngati should be facing a severe fine from the league for that hit, but with the Steelers, you never know. The Steelers have spent so much time telling the league where to go, they're not getting the benefit of the doubt for any of their hits, and the other team does.
