Tim Tebow began his pro career in very un-Tebow-like fashion: as a low-key, behind the scenes backup who rarely saw the field. With yesterday's firing of Josh McDaniels, Tebow has returned to his rightful place in the public eye.
Would we have it any other way?
Where does the former college football god fit in the Broncos' future plans?
Tebow will always be attached to McDaniels, the coach who traded away three draft picks to land the polarizing star in the back-end of the first round.
Some believe Tebow could be the 2011 starter for the Broncos. Others think it's in Denver's best interest if he remains as a situational, short-yardage quarterback.
There's even speculation he'll be traded, with the incoming coach having no allegiance to the former Heisman Trophy winner.
You may think the latter won't happen, but with the NFL's unpredictability you never know.
