NFL Playoffs: The Jets Simply Don’t Have the Firepower To Defeat the Patriots

The New York Jets talk a big game, that’s for sure.
Heck, if you’ve ever heard Rex Ryan speak to the media, you’d think that he was the one with three Super Bowl rings and not Bill Belichick.
Defensively speaking, the Jets can walk the walk.
But as we all know, the team that puts the most points on the board when the game clock strikes 0:00 in the fourth quarter will advance to the AFC Championship game, which is precisely why New England will find themselves just one game away from their fifth Super Bowl appearance in 10 years come Sunday night.
During the 2010 season, the Patriots averaged 32.4 points per game, which ranked first in the league by nearly five points per game.
The Jets have scored more than 32 points in a game just three times all season.
Plain and simple, Tom Brady and the Patriots are going to put more points on the board than Mark Sanchez and the Jets could ever dream of scoring during a playoff game.
