Packers vs. Falcons: Keys to the Game For the Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons have already shown that they can beat the Green Bay Packers this season, as they accomplished that feat way back in Week 12 of the regular season, vanquishing the Pack on a last-second field goal by Matt Bryant.
But one suspects that it won't be very easy this time around. The Packers pulled off a very convincing win over the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild Card round last weekend, and many people think they look like a legit Super Bowl contender.
If the Falcons are to advance to the NFC Championship Game, there are a couple things they must do.
Chief among their priorities should be the Green Bay running game. It sounds weird to say it, no doubt about that, but it's true nonetheless. They rushed for nearly 140 yards against the Eagles, and were thus able to control the ball for 32 minutes.
