New England Patriots: Tom Brady’s Surgery Similar To Red Sox Dustin Pedroia’s

Tom Brady underwent successful surgery Thursday afternoon at Massachusetts General Hospital on his right foot. 
Team physicians operated on Brady's right foot, which sustained a stress fracture, and inserted a screw into his injured navicular bone. The operation was very similar to what Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia underwent last baseball season. 
The surgery was minor, and Brady will now have to wear a walking boot for the next six weeks before being able to walk normally without any pain. 
Brady will have enough time to rest and will be healthy enough to participate in the team's training camp in July. 
The injury was reportedly suffered in the team's Week 9, 34-14 loss against the Cleveland Browns.
Playing with the stress fracture in his foot, Brady's performance was nothing but spectacular.
