Rivalries, it's something we have grown accustomed to in the sporting world.  Whether it's the Boston Red Sox vs. the New York Yankees, or the Boston Celtics vs. the Los Angeles Lakers, being a fan of a team caught up in stiff competition adds to the entire experience.
When you think of the NFL, a few obvious rivalries emerge.  The Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers or the New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons. 
Yes, those are all fierce battles, however the most anticipated match up of recent times would have to be the Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers.  Loud, over dramatized and downright hostile, the double occasion of Green Bay vs. Minnesota each year promises to draw in the fans.
But why has Minnesota vs. Green Bay become so fierce in the span of two or three years?  Of course there was a rivalry long ago, however it seems in recent times fuel has been added to a seemingly smouldering fire...
