2011 NFL Draft: Breaking Down the Five Most-Intriguing First-Round Prospects

Each year, the NFL Draft offers a fair share of “hit-or-miss” first-round picks.
You know, those guys who could rise to perennial All-Pro status or be out of the league for good before you can say, “Can I take your order?”
The annual selection special never disappoints when it comes to those players who, 10 years down the road, are recognized as either big-money “busts” or, well, guys who actually justified their draft spots.
Alright, here we go.
In no particular order—after all, we’re dealing with different players at different positions who offer different concerns—are the five most-intriguing prospects likely to be gone before the second round gets going.
 
1. Cameron Newton (QB)
Talk about a size-athleticism combo to barter a kidney for! Passing skills? Eh, well, NFL speed and complex defenses make Peyton Manning-esque numbers about as likely as meaningful nuptials in a “J-Lo” ...
