It only took a few years. A few years for Aaron Rodgers to win Super Bowl XLV MVP.
Not only that, he shut up everyone who doubted him and, most of all, said he could never replace the great Brett Favre.
Well, Favre lovers, just three words: get. over. it.
Rodgers has single-handedly helped win Green Bay a Super Bowl. Now Packers fans can say it: the Lombardi Trophy is rightfully home. It's heading back to Titletown.
Rodgers has helped do something that a few years ago very many people doubted. Now the Packers revel in all their glory, the first sixth seed to win a Super Bowl. The first Packers team to win since Favre led them to a win over New England in Super Bowl XXXI.
The Super Bowl MVP threw for 304 yards and three touchdowns in his great, electrifying performance.
Charles Woodson, Donald Driver and Sam Shields all went down, but they overcame every odd faced with them and squeaked out a 31-25 victory.
