The week of the NFL combine is always a special and exciting one for diehard NFL draft fans as we watch in awe of the dynamic physical abilities of some of our favorite college superstars and lesser heralded athletes.
The combine is the time when a player can raise his draft stock or even better, make a name for himself. A potential mid-round selection could become a third, second or even first-round selection with a remarkable combine showing that sends a buzz throughout the football world.
The combine can also destroy dreams as a poor showing can send a player tumbling down draft boards, which is why the combine is so exciting. The combine can make or break a player.
This year, the combine has received a ton of hype because none-other than the scrutinized Heisman winning Auburn Tigers quarterback Cam Newton stated that he plans to fully participate at the combine.
