New England Patriots Draft Prospects Danny Watkins, Phil Taylor Pro Day Results

Baylor is not historically known for producing NFL players or first round draft picks, but that will change in 2011 with two prospects who could intrigue the Patriots.
Danny Watkins and Phil Taylor worked out on Thursday for NFL scouts, in one of the pre-draft season's first Pro Day workouts, attended by 23 NFL teams.
Held on the Baylor campus in Waco, Texas the two top 50 players decided to stand on their already impressive workout numbers from the NFL Combine last week.
This allowed both players to focus on individual position drills, where they excelled.
Taylor has the make up of a nose tackle in a 3-4 defense in the NFL and he is seeing attention from teams like the New York Jets and New England Patriots as a late first-round pick.
In New England, he would be seen as an eventual replacement to Vince Wilfork.
