Former Northwestern LB Prince Kwateng Continues to Chase NFL Dream

When Prince Kwateng signed with the New Orleans Saints on Dec. 9, 2009, little did he know that his new NFL team would later become the Super Bowl champions. However, during his stint on the Saints’ practice squad, Prince gained a tremendous appreciation for the team’s approach to practice.
 
“They were obviously very talented, but the thing that stuck out to me the most was just how hard they worked all the time,” he said. “That’s the biggest thing I took away from my time there.”
 
Despite being with the Saints for less than a week, it was an incredibly proud moment in Prince’s football career.
 
“I just had a great sense of accomplishment, but more importantly for me, it was an opportunity,” he said. “Just getting the opportunity to play against the best in the world was great.”
