New York Jets Will Continue To Revamp Roster, Defense Gets Attention
In the free agent market, the Jets still have plenty of decisions to make regarding their entire team:receiver, offensive line, cornerback.
But they'll look to the draft to address an issue with their linebacking corp. Certainly Bart Scott isn't going anywhere. The club gave Calvin Pace a big, long term deal in 2008. And David Harris has already signed a franchise tender. That could leave Bryan Thomas as the odd man out: he isn't expected to be released--Thomas makes over $3 million next year--but he becomes a free agent in 2012.
Given all the movement and money they are spending now and what they could be spending on free agents this year (Nnamdi  Asomugha?) they probably don't want to give Thomas a big deal.
