2010 NFL Draft: Grading the Positions

Its NFL Draft season people and that means time for mock drafts, McShay vs. Kiper, and a three month break from hearing about whither Brett Farve’s retiring or not. The scouting combine is less than fourteen days away and I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait any longer. The combine is just the first step in the long awaited draft process. Every year draft prospects are graded individually on their talents, but I want to focus on the positions as a whole. I will address a few of the key prospects from every position and assess an overall grade for their position in this draft. I will use a classic grading scale of A-F, with A of course being the best and F the worst. The positions I’ll be grading are: QB,RB,TE,WR,OT,OG,C,DE,DT,OLB,MLB,S,CB For positions such as OLB and DE, I will evaluate them with the basis of using a classic 4-3 defensive scheme.
