Detroit Lions head coach, Jim Schwartz, has a lot to process before the start of the 2011 NFL season.
Not only does he have to navigate through the distractions and inconveniences that come with the lockout, but somehow through all of that, he needs to prepare his team to play football.
Every year, there are a handful of veteran players on every team that need to be cut. It might not be for any other reason than to create space for new players on the roster, but in some cases, it’s because they have been unproductive or reaching the end of the line.
