The Saints Can March Back To the Bowl Next Season
New Orleans still has Drew Brees running the show, they have Sean Payton calling the shots and their offensive system will turn out numbers once again this season.
Yes, this team did lose a postseason road game against a Seattle team with a losing record but they were also without three major contributors.
Rookie tight end Jimmy Graham, safety Malcolm Jenkins and running back Chris Ivory did not play in that game.
Graham is now the guy after New Orleans and Jeremy Shockey cut ties.
The Saints are more than capable of putting up points but they do need some help defensively.
ESPN.com's Mel Kiper Jr. and Chris Mortenson broke down the Saints biggest needs in an "On The Clock" segment and said:
"Front seven on defense. If they upgrade in the front seven they could get back to the Super Bowl. Playmaking outside linebacker or another defensive lineman to help the pass rush would be ideal."
