NFL Draft 2011: Breaking Down Draft Needs for All 16 AFC Teams

The Denver Broncos lead the way for the AFC in the 2011 NFL draft, as they have the second overall selection. It is difficult to believe that the Carolina Panthers, owners of the first overall pick, will make any move that will really affect Denver’s selection. The Broncos, with so many needs, can go several ways with this draft, yet only one will allow them to compete for the AFC West division title in John Fox’s Denver debut.
Depending on who falls to them, the Buffalo Bills, even more so than Carolina and Denver, have the most interesting selection. Many are penciling them in to take a quarterback with the third overall pick. My question to these mockers—why select a quarterback with so many other pressing needs?
