There are many examples of great players and moments in the NFL. Everybody's on their feet, not daring to wink in case something incredible will happen when Michael Vick takes off and scrambles down the field.
It is always exciting to watch when an outside linebacker comes off the edge and hits the quarterback and when are you, as a fan, more nervous than when the game comes down to a long field goal.
What we don't always think about are the players that historically changed their position on the football field. Here's a list of five players that will go down in history as players who changed the game forever.
