Kansas City Chiefs: You Guys Are Good, but Not THAT Good Yet

Dear Crazed Kansas City Chiefs Fans,
Fierce arguments are made daily on who the best team in the AFC West is, usually between Chiefs and Raider fans.
Chargers and Broncos fans, to me, have virtually disappeared. They just stay in their own community, save for a few who give their opinion on some issues in the division.
Chiefs fans claim that since they won the division, they're rightfully the best team. They say that Jamaal Charles, Matt Cassel, and a solid but not great defense definitely make for a playoff team.
A guy just recently wrote an article on why the Chiefs will win the AFC West in 2011. His points were:
1. The Chiefs are a young team.
2. Jamaal Charles won't slow down whatsoever in 2011.
3. The Chiefs know what their weaknesses are.
4. The AFC West is a weak division.
5. Kansas City has confidence and has something to prove heading into the season.
Really, those aren't bad reasons at all. But it's a tad ironic. Because as I ...
