What Will New England Do with Their First Pick of Round One? 
The New England Patriots are going to take a defender with the 17th pick in the draft. Their defense was what held them back in 2010, and they're going to improve that side of the ball in the 2011 draft. 
New England was unable to get constant pressure on opposing quarterbacks in 2010, and by drafting Ryan Kerrigan here their pass rush gets an instant upgrade. 
Kerrigan thrives on sacking the quarterback. His quickness off the edge will work really well for New England in 2011. Kerrigan will add to the youth that is the Patriots defense, as well as provide consistent pressure on opposing quarterbacks.
