NFL Draft 2011: Could Bruce Carter Give Carolina Panthers First-Round Quality?

Carolina Panthers Draft: Injury is hurting Carter's draft profile:
Injury can hurt a player's draft profile dramatically. It does even moreso if the player doesn't just miss playing time but can't workout for NFL scouts leading up to the draft. That's the problem for North Carolina linebacker Bruce Carter.
Derek Harper of NFLDraftScout.com sees Carter as the fifth-best outside linebacker prospect available. If it wasn't for an ACL injury last season and surgery Dec. 14, Carter could show scouts the explosive nature that made him a beast in the ACC in 2008 and 2009.
Instead, he has to let his game film do the talking for him. Still projected as a second-round prospect, Carter could blossom into a player that produces on the level expected of first-round picks.
Carolina is looking for help at outside linebacker. If they could somehow get him with the first pick of the third round, 65th overall, it would be a valuable coup.
