Miami Dolphins Deepen Running Back Rotation with Mark Ingram
The Dolphins need some love on the offensive line. It would be a stretch to take one of the players available at this point.
The one thing the Dolphins cannot do without though is a top-tier running back. That is the one position that makes this team go. The best and brightest in the backfield is Mark Ingram. My pick for the Dolphins in January is still my lock for April.
Ingram did not exactly impress at the Combine. He had middle-tier speed in the 40-yard dash for his position. Scouts sort of shrugged that off though.
Ingram does not kill you with his top end speed. He never has. What he does well is cut and explode. Ingram is as elusive as a jack rabbit in an open field. He may not blow you away with a second burst of speed, but he will get you a boat load of first downs.
Ingram will be one of the best at consistently moving the chains. That is all football is anyway. He has above average vision. ...
