2011 NFL Second Annual Fans’ Mock Draft: Detroit Lions Pick No.13

After a highly successful “Fan’s Mock” here at B/R in 2010, we’re returning for our second go-round to once again give our fans a chance to vote for who they think their team should select in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft!
The Lions took serious steps towards becoming a solid contender in the NFC North last offseason and it started to show during the 2010 season despite another year of injury troubles at the quarterback position.
In 2011, Detroit is sure to pass Minnesota on the NFC North food chain, and could even give Chicago a run for their money if they can manage another solid draft this offseason.
Their tough defensive line created problems for every team they faced but they just seemed to lose steam in the fourth quarter due to a lack of depth.
With playmakers on offense in place, they could look towards adding depth on defense or try and give Matthew Stafford a better shot at staying healthy by drafting an offensive lineman.
