2011 NFL Mock Draft Gives Tampa Bay A Chance To Continue Building On Defense
Tom Kinslow's Pick: When Tampa Bay is on the clock, you're going to hear a lot of talk about its defense.
The Buccaneers weren't a team that really got after the quarterback, only tallying 30 sacks this past year, putting Tampa Bay at 23rd in the league. There are young, talented players on this defense, but the Bucs are missing that talented pass-rusher to put them over the top.
That's why when Tampa Bay goes to the podium, it has to go for a defensive end and that man is Justin Houston. With most of the top ends off of the board, Houston is the best-available player at the position and he's a guy that has been on the Bucs' radar for some time now.
There will be a debate between Houston and Adrian Clayborn in the draft room, but Houston is the type of player Tampa Bay needs. He's big, strong and amazingly quick off of the snap.
